Our Approach to Treating Breast Cancer

Where you are:

Choosing the right place to start treatment for breast cancer is the most important first step in obtaining the best results.
As the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center based in Florida, Moffitt has the latest options in technology, world-class treatment and cutting-edge research to assure the best care of a patient diagnosed with breast cancer. As part of our Center for Women's Oncology, the Don & Erika Wallace Comprehensive Breast Program features a team of board-certified physicians that are fellowship trained in breast disease and recruited from top institutions across the country.
Moffitt is designated as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence and is accredited by the American College of Radiology in mammography, breast ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Stereotactic and Ultrasound-Guided Core Needle Breast Biopsy. The Center for Women's Oncology is also accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons.
